On Thursday, June 25th, check out the world premiere of The Youngest Candidate, a feature-length documentary directed by Jason Pollock, following the story of four teens running for public office in America. Through their journey these young candidates learn about fair play, leadership development, racism in politics, the importance of family and many other lessons to carry with them throughout their lives. We’re excited about the film, not only because Studio Number One created graphics for the movie poster, stickers and soundtrack packaging, but also because we hope it will inspire more young people to get involved in public affairs.
The premiere is part of the Los Angeles Film Festival, and will be held at the Majestic Crest Theater in Westwood. For tickets, click here .

Studio Number One was recently featured in Faesthetic #11, the “Ghost Stories” issue. Editor Dustin Hostetler and his cohort Forest were kind enough to give us all 12 pages of their “Think Faest” section, which we gladly filled with supernatural illustrations and a paranormal little interview. The issue features a cover design by Maxwell Loren Holyoke-Hirsch and the otherworldly works of over 50 other artists inside. See the apparitions at http://tinyurl.com/snofaesthetic

Arkitip magazine is one of the few publications out there that delivers an original product every time, so we were pleased to work with them on their latest offering, Arkitip No. 0051, featuring SNO founder Shepard Fairey.
The 70-page feature on Shepard was designed by Studio Number One’s Cleon Peterson and includes an interview by our own Simon Steinhardt. The special hand-packaged and numbered edition of 5000 includes a 7.5 x 10” screen print, a die-cut cover (which can be taken apart and used as a stencil) and a custom-designed box by Incase.
If you’re in L.A. this Friday, June 19th, come celebrate the release of the issue at Space 1520 in Hollywood from 7 to 10 pm. Shepard has created a special billboard and installation for the event. In case you couldn’t tell, it’s gonna be special.
